The Columbus Mobile Dental Clinic is an outreach program of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry Geriatric Dental Program. This clinic was funded by a grant from Access Health Columbus, Inc. The grant was in the amount of $94,500. The fund was used exclusively to design and equip a state-of-the-art dental clinic with 4 operatories, allowing OSU senior dental students to provide needed care to underserved urban patients. Access-approved patients, patients who pay on a sliding-fee scale, patients with dental insurance (Medicaid, PrimeCare, OSU, or Delta Dental), and patients who privately pay are welcome.

The following services were provided:

1. Oral health exam, annual check up and oral cancer screening
2. Restoration of decayed teeth (fillings)
3. Extraction of non-restorable teeth
4. Repair and relining of dentures
5. Treatment of oral diseases (Ulcerations, dry mouth, cleaning, prophylaxis)
6. Preventive dental care including fluoride treatment and placement of sealants for children.

This clinic is now closed until further notice.
