Diversity / People - Focus on Preceptors

The Division of Pediatric Dentistry provides preceptorships for up to four preceptors each year, depending on funding. The preceptors are general dentists who wish to expand their training in pediatric dentistry within a community education setting. Preceptors treat patients, teach, and perform research in all of the Division’s sites. Preceptors are free to take classes with residents to learn more about pediatric dentistry. In some cases, the preceptors assume management or directorship roles in the various clinics and serve as dentists on-call at Nationwide Children's Hospital, gaining experience in managing dental emergencies.

This year’s preceptorship class includes Dr. Suhyan Rue, Dr. Cole Bryant and Dr. Alicia Thomas
