This site contains information about the restorative materials used in the OSU dental clinics. The information includes a list of the materials,  Material Safety Data Sheets, and other general descriptions. In addition, this site is a source for indications, contraindications, and rationales for use for dental material. This list is neither complete nor cast in stone because over time the variety of materials seems to expand beyond what people originally introduced, especially in the clinical portion of the curriculum.

Included are instructions provided for by the manufacturers and those by the preclinical instructors. At times, the procedures may conflict with one another; however, you, as a critical thinker, will need to determine which is more suitable for your situation, as this will vary.
