D4 Student George Williams Wins Board of Trustees' Award

Fourth-year College of Dentistry student George Williams recently received The Ohio State University Board of Trustees' Student Recognition Award at a ceremony held at the Longaberger Alumni House on June 7.

A native of Canton, Ohio, Williams was honored for his commitment to excellence both within and outside the classroom, and for his outstanding leadership. He serves as the current President of the College of Dentistry Student Government Association, and he is a past president of Ohio State's Pre-Dental Club.

Commenting on Williams' award, Dean Patrick M. Lloyd said, "George is a student and a leader who sets the standard for others in our college. We are pleased and proud that he is a member of our college community, and we congratulate him for receiving this honor."
