Transportation

To get a parking sticker, you must register with the University before September 1.  To get a parking sticker, you can physically go to Traffic and Parking or you can purchase it over the web.  To purchase your sticker over the web, submit this form with credit card information.  The parking sticker will be mailed to you.  If you want to be entered in the Garage lottery, you must submit this form by September 10 in order to qualify.  If you are chosen for the lottery, you will be notified and you must pick up your permit in person at Traffic and Parking by September 24.  If you do not do this, you will forfeit your right to the lottery.

For parking polices and procedures and permit registration for vehicles while on campus see Ohio State Transportation & Parking Services.

For updates on pedestrian and vehicle detours and street closings due to construction projects, please visit this web site.

To get moving Off-campus use COTA, the Central Ohio Transit Authority.  A fee to ride COTA is included in your quarterly tuition.  This allows OSU students to ride any COTA bus, any route, at any time.  Just show a valid OSU ID or buckidlittle.gif (314 bytes) card to the COTA bus driver while boarding and enjoy all that Central Ohio has to offer.

To shuttle on and around campus use Campus Area Bus Service. (CABS) is here to fulfill your transportation needs on campus and through the surrounding neighborhoods safely, economically and conveniently.  Look for CABS schedules in 160 Bevis Hall, on CABS buses, dorms, the Ohio Union, Drake Union, at the College of Dentistry and on the web.

Campus Maps will help you find buildings on campus to help you get where you need to go.

Keep your "stuff" safe; keep "yourself" safe.  Take a few minutes to consider what you can do to keep yourself safe, visit The Ohio State University Public Safety web site.
