Dr. Frank Cordray
• Clinical Associate Professor, DDS, MS, Board Certified

Dr. Frank Cordray, a native of Grove City, Ohio, received his BA in zoology from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio - Phi Beta Kappa) and his DDS and MS (orthodontics) from Ohio State University (Phi Kappa Phi), graduating in 1986. In 1994, he completed an additional 2 year continuing education course in comprehensive clinical orthodontics with Roth-Williams International and is currently the Teaching Committee Chairman. He maintains private practices in Worthington and Grove City, Ohio.

He is a Diplomate on the American Board of Orthodontics, author of two published articles on current orthodontic treatment methods, and a Consultant for the American Journal of Orthodontics.

In addition to his teaching duties, Dr. Cordray has lectured extensively to graduate orthodontic programs throughout the country, most recently University of North Carolina, the University of Chicago, the University of Missouri, New York University, University of Tennessee, Eastman Dental Center, and Harvard University. He is also on faculty at the Children's Hospital Program in Washington, D.C., and spoke at both the Northeast Society of Orthodontics (NESO) meeting in December 1997 and the national AAO meeting in May 1998.

His primary area of focus is clinical orthodontics, with emphasis on functional occlusal concepts, gnathology, and the importance of centric relation treatment, condylar position, and articulator use in orthodontic diagnosis, treatment planning, and occlusal finishing. He also lectures on Straight Wire Appliance treatment mechanics and orthognathic surgical correction and execution. email:
