Dr. Toru Deguchi DDS, MSD, PhD

Dr. Toru Deguchi is an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Division of Orthodontics at The Ohio State University. Dr. Deguchi completed his D.D.S. at Aichi-Gakuin University, Ph.D. at Okayama University in Japan, and M.S.D. at the Indiana University. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Deguchi has been a full-time faculty in Okayama University and Tohoku University as an Associate Professor. He returned to the United States in 2013 as a full-time faculty here in The Ohio State University. Dr. Deguchi is involve in teaching orthodontic residents and is part of dental faculty practice.

6.    The use of digital models and scanners in orthodontic treatment

7.    Evaluation of orthodontic treatment outcome using quantitative occlusal indices in various techniques

2.    Orthodontic treatment outcome using esthetic appliances (Invisalign, lingual brackets, clear brackets & wires)
